Cecilia was born and raised in Mexico, where she developed an appreciation for local buildings, specifically Pre-Hispanic, colonial and later, contemporary art and architecture. Through strong family and friendship bonds, she learned the enriching value of community and how all aspects of designing spaces can contribute to this value.

She majored in Architecture, later focusing on architectural design and commercial interiors. Prior to relocating to Boulder, Cecilia lived in New York City and worked at Dash Design for over 12 years, where she was responsible for architectural design direction, project management and construction consultation for a wide variety of projects worldwide: hotels, restaurants, retail, residential buildings, co-working spaces, and senior living communities. Through her work, she seeks to contribute to everyone’s experience of life, by creating spaces that improve the way we live, work and play. Cecilia lives in Boulder with her young daughter, enjoys the outdoors and volunteering for children’s education.
